TREATMENT POLICY Treatment Approach Customized Medical Care for Each Individual
Our general dentistry is committed to treatments that minimize tooth reduction,
extraction, and nerve removal, focusing on reducing pain and swelling. We also emphasize preventive care that looks ahead over the next decade.
For advanced medical treatments such as implants, orthodontics, and tooth transplantation, experienced specialists use the latest equipment to provide minimally invasive procedures. We aim to reduce treatment durations and clinic visits, and we schedule appointments to suit each patient's preferences for date and time. Our goal is to offer personalized treatments tailored to each individual's needs.
Furthermore, we believe that cosmetic (beautifying) treatments are not special but integral to all our dental services.
Orthodontics Our Approach to Implants
We have performed over 7,000 implant procedures for nearly 5,000 patients to date, guided by the following five objectives:
- 1.Enhance knowledge and skills while prioritizing safety above all.
- 2.Minimize patient discomfort as much as possible.
- 3.Reduce the burden of surgery, shorten treatment duration, and cut costs.
- 4.Provide steadfast medical care that prevents setbacks.
- 5.Offer long-term care, looking ahead 10 to 20 years.
Our entire team is committed to not neglecting any of these principles. As treatment progresses, seeing our patients’ faces light up and maintaining their oral health through annual maintenance—removing dental parts to check gum health and continuing aftercare in partnership with our patients to prevent periodontal diseases—is our greatest joy. Comments from patients, like
- “Food tastes better.”
- “I can speak freely in public.”
- “I can eat the same things as my family.”
fill us with pride.
Our implant treatments cover everything from replacing a single tooth to a full set of teeth, yet we present it merely as one option among many. In some cases, dentures may be entirely satisfactory, and we must consider surgical procedures, treatment duration, and costs. We perform a comprehensive assessment, including systemic (blood tests, consultation with the primary physician) and local (oral examination, models, X-rays, CT scans) evaluations, to determine if implants are suitable. We ensure that patients understand the advantages and disadvantages compared to other treatments before choosing to proceed.
We believe that the profound impact of implants lies not only in restoring physical function but also in psychological rehabilitation—boosting confidence and mental well-being. We are convinced that in the coming aging society, this can enrich lives and promote overall health.
Sdation Treatment
Many of us wish that difficult experiences could end as if they were just a dream. Dental procedures involving surgery can be mentally and physically taxing, often leading to increased anxiety, elevated blood pressure, and a faster heartbeat. To mitigate these effects and ensure safety, our clinic offers various sedation methods. Please feel free to discuss these options with us.
Oral Sedation
Before the procedure, patients take a sedative. This method involves sleep-inducing drugs, and some patients may even sleep calmly throughout the procedure.
Inhalation Sedation (Nitrous Oxide Sedation)
This method helps patients relax mentally and alleviates pain.
Intravenous Sedation (IV Sedation)
This type of sedation involves administering a sedative via an IV. It is commonly used for endoscopic exams, gynecological procedures, and is not full anesthesia. It is ideal for implant surgeries, and patients typically have little to no memory of the procedure. Our clinic conducts these treatments under the supervision of anesthesiologists from Tokai University. It is rare to find a dental clinic where both doctors and dentists collaborate to perform treatments together; we have been using this approach for 25 years. Our experience has shaped our current practice style, focusing on reducing patient discomfort and enhancing safety. Many patients report that the surgery was comfortable.
Implant Surgery Cost: Starting from 220,000 JPY per implant.
